01About

Hands-free card holders for kids, grandparents and anyone who finds a full hand hard to hold. Drop your cards into the stand and they stay upright on the table, fanned so you can read every corner.

The curved stand is 201 x 62 x 32 mm with one slot that follows its gentle curve and leans slightly back. It takes 10 to 15 ordinary poker or bridge cards, overlapped and fanned along the curve, with no bending.

The folding holder has two 100 x 65 mm leaves on a hinge that prints already assembled. Open it to its built-in stop, stand it on its wide flat base and fan 5 to 10 cards between the leaves. Folded, it is 100 x 80 x 31 mm.

Each holder is one color: no AMS needed. Print them separately in two colors, or both together on one plate. The 3MF projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S, and the STLs print on any printer. The license lets you sell the holders you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need two colors:

    • Curved standTeal
    • Folding holderCoral
  3. Print

Print each holder as supplied: the stand flat, the folding holder closed and standing on its short edge with its brim. No supports.

Keep the scale at 100%: the slot and the hinge clearances depend on it. Keep the folding holder in its supplied orientation with its brim, do not split or rearrange its two pieces, and let the plate cool before you take it off.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STLs on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

03What to print

2 holders. Print Curved-Stand and Pocket-Holder, or Both-Holders for one color:

PartHow manyColor
The curved table stand (3 h 32 min, 81 g)Curved-Stand1×Teal
The folding holder, hinge printed in place (4 h 12 min, 72 g)Pocket-Holder1×Coral
Both holders on one plate, in one colorBoth-Holders1×One color

Each file comes as a 3MF project and as an STL: use one or the other, not both.

04Using it

  1. Free the hinge

Peel the brim off the folding holder, hold it near the hinge and gently wiggle the leaves apart. Open it to the built-in stop.

  2. Load the stand

Drop flat cards straight into the curved slot, overlapped and fanned along the curve, lower edges seated evenly.

  3. Load the folding holder

Stand it on its wide base, hinge at the bottom, and fan 5 to 10 cards between the leaves.

The full notes, including troubleshooting, are in START_HERE.txt inside the download. Close the folding holder without cards inside. Keep PLA away from heat; small broken pieces are a choking hazard for young children.
