01About

A Thanksgiving cornucopia that doubles as a candy bowl: a woven-look horn with a braided rope rim, a tail that curls up behind and a wide mouth about 14 cm across for wrapped candy. The bowl is about 22 cm long, 16 cm wide and 16 cm tall.

A harvest cluster of two pumpkins, a red apple, four wheat ears and two leaves hooks over the front of the rim and rests on the table. It lifts off when you want the bowl on its own. No screws, glue or tools.

The bowl prints mouth-down, so the inside needs no supports; a few small supports go outside, under the tail and the foot. Its brown rim comes from one filament change partway up, so no AMS is needed for the bowl.

The full-color harvest cluster needs an AMS with four colors: orange, red, yellow and olive green. Without one, it prints in one color.

Both parts come as Bambu Studio projects for a P2S and as STL. The license lets you sell the bowls you make. For wrapped candy only.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need 6 colors:

    • Rope rimCoffee Brown
    • BowlCaramel
    • PumpkinsPumpkin Orange
    • AppleRed
    • WheatYellow
    • Leaves, stems, hookOlive Green
  3. Print

Print everything on the list below, then put it together.

The bowl starts in Coffee Brown and pauses once at 9 mm: swap to Caramel and resume. The pause is saved in the 3MF; for the STL, add it in your slicer, or print the bowl in one color. The harvest cluster has several colors in the same layers, so it needs an AMS with four colors; without one, print its STL in one color. Keep both parts at 100% scale so the hook fits the rim.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

Each 3MF project has these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STLs on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

03What to print

2 parts. The whole bowl:

PartHow manyColor
The candy bowl01-Cornucopia-Bowl1 partCaramel with a brown rim
Hook-on harvest cluster02-Harvest-Cluster1 partFour colors, or one

Print one bowl and one cluster, from the 3MF or the STL, not both.

04Putting it together

  1. Print the bowl

Mouth-down on the plate, exactly as supplied, with tree supports outside only. Swap Coffee Brown for Caramel at the pause at 9 mm.

  2. Print the cluster

On its back with the hook nearest the plate, with normal supports. Four colors with an AMS, or one color.

  3. Clean up

Let both parts cool, then remove the brims and the outside supports. Hold the bowl by its body, never by the spiral tip.

  4. Hook it on

Stand the bowl on its oval foot, place the cluster's hook over the lowest front of the rim and lower it until the pumpkins rest on the table.

  5. Fill it

Add wrapped candy. Lift the cluster straight up to take it off, and carry the bowl by its body.

For wrapped candy only: PLA prints are not food-safe for unwrapped food. Wipe with a damp cloth, no dishwasher, and keep away from heat and direct sun.
