01About

Four pairs of Thanksgiving earrings in one download: a round little turkey with a red, orange and yellow tail fan, a slice of pumpkin pie with a scalloped crust and a swirl of cream, a red maple leaf with raised orange veins, and an acorn with an olive-green oak leaf.

Every charm is 2.4 mm thick and about 25 to 34 mm tall, with a flat back and a sturdy round loop with a 2 mm hole for a jump ring and an ear wire; the hardware isn't included. They print flat with no supports.

The pie and the maple leaf change color by layer, so a pause and a filament swap is all they need. The turkey and the acorn have several colors in the same layers, so their full-color versions need an AMS; without one, print them in one color from the STL.

Each pair comes as a Bambu Studio project for a P2S and as STL, plus all four pairs on one plate. The license lets you sell the earrings you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need 7 colors:

    • Turkey body, acorn capCoffee Brown
    • Pie filling, tail, veinsPumpkin Orange
    • Maple leaf, tailRed
    • Tail, beakYellow
    • Pie crust, acornCaramel
    • CreamWhite
    • Oak leafOlive Green
  3. Print

Print everything on the list below, then put it together.

The pie and maple leaf change color only between layers: print them with pauses and filament swaps (the guide lists the layers). The full-color turkey and acorn have several colors in the same layers, so they need an AMS; without one, print their STLs in one color. All four pairs on one plate in full color uses all seven colors. Keep the scale at 100% so the 2 mm holes fit the hardware.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

Each 3MF project has these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STLs on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

03What to print

8 charms in 4 pairs. The whole collection:

Pumpkin pie earrings02-Pumpkin-Pie-Pair1 pairCaramel, orange, white
Maple leaf earrings03-Maple-Leaf-Pair1 pairRed and orange
Acorn earrings04-Acorn-Pair1 pairBrown, caramel, olive green
All eight charms on one plateOptional05-All-Four-Pairs4 pairsAll seven colors

Each file prints a pair, or all four pairs at once. Use its 3MF or its STL, not both.

04Putting it together

  1. Pick a file per pair

Open a pair's 3MF as a project, set up for a Bambu Lab P2S, or use its STL in any slicer, not both. Or print all four pairs on one plate.

  2. Print them flat

Decorative face up, no supports, no brim. For the pie and maple leaf, pause between the color layers and swap filament. The full-color turkey and acorn need an AMS; without one, print their STLs in one color.

  3. Clean the loops

Let the charms cool before lifting them by the broad body, then remove any strings and check each 2 mm hole.

  4. Add the hardware

Pass a jump ring through the charm and the ear wire's loop and close it. Hinged click jump rings about 6 mm across, with wire up to 0.8 mm, need no tools. Ear wires and jump rings aren't included.

  5. Wear them

Each charm hangs face forward from its loop. No glue anywhere.

Keep finished earrings away from heat that could soften the plastic, keep small parts away from young children, and check each pair before wearing or selling it.
