01About

A slim, smooth black headband with two squiggly stalks rising from the top, each holding a little orange jack-o'-lantern with a black stem and a carved face. The stalks are thin zig-zag springs, so the pumpkins bob and bounce as you move.

It prints flat in one piece: band, stalks and pumpkins together, with no assembly, glue or hardware. The band is a 3.1 mm spring that you gently flex to slip on, and it holds by its own curve like a store-bought headband.

Two versions come in the download: a two-color project for an AMS (black band and faces, orange pumpkins), and a one-color version with the faces cut through, so it reads as a jack-o'-lantern in any single color. PLA works; PETG is springier and handles stretching better.

It comes as Bambu Studio projects for a P2S and as STL. The license lets you sell the headbands you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need two colors:

    • Band, stalks, stems and facesBlack
    • PumpkinsOrange
  3. Print

Print the headband flat in one piece, as supplied, with no supports. Let the plate cool, then lift the band and both pumpkins together, supporting the thin stalks.

The two-color project needs an AMS: the colors share the pumpkin layers, so a manual filament swap by height cannot make it. Without an AMS, print the one-color file, where the faces are cut through. Keep the scale at 100%: scaling changes the band's grip and the stalks' strength.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STL on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

03What to print

1 part. One headband from either file:

PartHow manyColor
Two-color headband01-Pumpkin-Bopper-Headband-2Color1 partBlack band and stalks with orange pumpkins (AMS)
One-color headband02-Pumpkin-Bopper-Headband-1Color1 partOne-color headband with cut-through faces

The two files are alternatives: print the two-color one with an AMS, or the one-color one on any printer. Pick one format, the 3MF or the STL.

04Wearing it

  1. Lift it off cleanly

Let the plate cool completely, then release the band and both pumpkins together. Never pull the print up by one pumpkin.

  2. Flex it gently

Spread the two lower ends only as far as needed to slip it on. It holds by its own curve.

  3. Let them bounce

The stalks flex side to side, so the pumpkins bob as you move. Don't pull the stalks straight or bend them like hinges.

If it pinches or needs force, stop and don't stretch it wider. Keep it away from heat and hot cars. Small broken parts are not suitable for young children or pets.

05Selling your prints

Every download comes with a license that lets you sell the physical prints you make. The full terms are in LICENSE.txt inside the ZIP.

You can

  • Print it for yourself, family and friends, and as gifts
  • Sell physical prints, with no quantity limit or royalty
  • Change the files for your own printing, and sell prints of those too
  • Use your own photos of your prints to sell them

You can't

  • Share, upload, sell or give away the files, or remixes of them
  • Pass the files on with a print you sell
  • Claim the design as yours, or imply 3MF Labs endorses your shop

Want a friend to have the files? Send them this page. It's free for them too. Read the full license
