01About

Four round Christmas coasters in one download: a dark green one with a white snowflake, a white one with a green tree, a gold star and a brown trunk, a red one with a gingerbread man in white icing, and a green one with a red bauble. A plain dark green holder with an open front and a finger notch keeps all four stacked design up.

Each coaster is 100 mm across and 6 mm thick, with a solid 4 mm base and a slim raised rim. The designs sit flush with the rim, so mugs and glasses stand flat. The holder is about 106 x 105 x 29 mm.

The full-color coasters need an AMS, since the colors change within the same layers. Without one, print each coaster with one filament change at 4 mm (the design and the top of the rim change color together), or in one color. The holder prints in one color.

Everything prints flat with no supports: about 1.5 to 3.5 hours and 50 to 66 g per coaster, and about 1 hour and 50 g for the holder. The projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S; it comes as 3MF projects and as STL, and the license lets you sell the coasters you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

    Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need 6 colors:

    • Snowflake and holder base, treeDark Green
    • Ornament baseGreen
    • Gingerbread base, baubleRed
    • Snowflake, icing, band, tree baseWhite
    • Star, ornament capGold
    • Gingerbread man, trunkCaramel

  3. Print

    Print each coaster flat, design up, and the holder standing on its floor, all with no supports. Everything comes off the plate finished: nothing to glue or put together.

The full-color coasters change color within layers, so they need an AMS; all four on one plate use six colors (two AMS units), so with one four-slot AMS print them one at a time. Without an AMS, pause after the 4.0 mm layer and swap filament for a two-color coaster, or print the STL in one color. Keep the scale at 100% so the coasters fit the holder.

03What to print

Each coaster and the holder comes as one complete file, plus an All-4-Coasters plate. The files with -Base, -Design and similar endings are the color regions for other slicers, not extra parts. Pick one format, the 3MF or the STL.

04Using your coasters

  1. Let them cool

    Let the plate cool fully and keep the coasters flat while they cool, so they stay flat and stack well.

  2. Check the tops

    Pick off any strings or blobs above the rim or the design so a mug sits without rocking.

  3. Stack them

    Drop the four coasters into the holder design up. Lift them out from above, or push the bottom one up through the finger notch.

PLA is for cool and warm drinks, not hot pans or trivets. Keep the coasters out of the dishwasher, microwave and direct sun, and wipe them with a damp cloth.

Every download comes with a license that lets you sell the physical prints you make. The full terms are in LICENSE.txt inside the ZIP.

  • Sell physical prints, with no quantity limit or royalty
  • Change the files for your own printing, and sell prints of those too
