01About

A case shaped like a Christmas tree snack cake, white with red icing stripes and green sprinkles across the front, made to wear on a belt. A real wrapped tree cake fits inside with room to spare: the regular is about 95 x 121 mm, the large about 104 x 133 mm.

Pick how it goes on the belt. Pin loops: two straps snap into the back and the belt threads through them, the most secure way. Slide clip: a clip slides up a track on the back to its stop, then hooks over the belt without taking the belt off. Both fit belts up to 1 3/4 in wide and about 6 mm thick.

Pick how it closes. Snap: the two halves press together and click shut at four points, and a small notch at the trunk opens them again. Hinge and clasp: the halves print joined by a hinge and close with a clasp that clicks over a bump. Every plate prints the case and its belt parts in one go, flat. Snap plates need no supports; hinge plates have one small support under the clasp bump, already set in the 3MF. The red and green sit flush in the first few layers, so an AMS gives the full look; without one, it prints all white.

Eight plates: regular or large, pin loops or the slide clip, snap or hinge, about 4 to 5 h and 75 to 95 g. Bambu Studio projects for a P2S and STLs. The license lets you sell the prints you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

    Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need three colors:

    • CaseWhite
    • Icing stripesRed
    • SprinklesGreen

  3. Print

    Pick one plate (regular or large, belt loops or slide clip, snap or hinge) and print it as supplied. Hinge plates have one small support already set in the 3MF.

The red and green change within the first three layers, so the colour plates need an AMS: keep the prime tower. Without an AMS, print the STL in white. Keep the scale at 100% and choose the size you need: the clicks, pins and clip depend on their clearances.

03What to print

Each file is one complete case in colour with its belt parts, ready to print. Pick one format, the 3MF or the STL, not both.

04Printing it

  1. Let it cool

    Let the plate cool fully, lift the two trays and the belt parts off, and clear any loose strands from the clicks and the clip. On a hinge plate, remove the small support under the clasp bump.

  2. Close the case

    Snap: line the trays up and press along both sides until all four points click; to open, put a thumbnail in the notch at the trunk. Hinge: flex the hinge free, close it and press the clasp over its bump. To open, carefully lift the tab with your thumbnail: it only takes a very slight lift, about 2 mm. Never pull the lid open without lifting the tab.

  3. Belt loops

    Push each holder's pins straight through its two holes in the back until they click, straps running tip to trunk. Thread the belt under both straps.

  4. Or the slide clip

    Slide the clip up the track from the trunk end until it reaches its stop, then hook it over your belt.

A carry case and decoration, not a toy for small children. Check the belt parts hold before wearing it, and keep it out of a hot car.
