02How to print

1. 1

   Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

   Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

   Load your filament

   You need 7 colors:

   • Mugs, laces, scarves, cardinalsRed

   Print

   Print everything on the list below, then put it together.

Several colors share the same layers in every pair, so the full-color projects need an AMS (three or four colors per pair). Without an AMS, print any pair's STL in one color. Silver is a regular PLA color, not metal filament. Keep the scale at 100% so the 2 mm holes fit the hardware.

Each file prints a pair. Use its 3MF or its STL, not both. Files ending in a color name are that color's piece of a pair: load them together as parts of one object, or use the full project instead.

04Putting it together

1. 1

   Pick a file per pair

   Open a pair's 3MF as a project, set up for a Bambu Lab P2S, or use its STL in any slicer, not both.

2. 2

   Print them flat

   Decorative face up, no supports, no brim. The full-color pairs need an AMS; without one, print a pair in one color.

3. 3

   Clean the loops

   Let the charms cool before lifting them by the broad body, then remove any strings and check each 2 mm hole.

4. 4

   Add the hardware

   Pass a jump ring through the charm and the ear wire's loop and close it. Hinged click jump rings about 6 mm across, with wire up to 0.8 mm, need no tools. Ear wires and jump rings aren't included.

5. 5

   Wear them

   Each charm hangs face forward from its loop; the cardinals face each other. No glue anywhere.

Keep finished earrings away from heat that could soften the plastic, keep small parts away from young children, and check each pair before wearing or selling it.
