01About

A tidy home for the spare batteries that end up loose in a drawer. Three rounded steps hold 8 AA cells in the back row, 10 AAA cells in the middle row, and two upright 9V batteries and six CR2032 coin cells on the front step, with raised AA, AAA, 9V and COIN labels so everyone knows where each one goes.

About half of each battery stays out of its well, so it is easy to grab, and all 26 places can be used at once. The wells are sized for standard cells at 100% scale, with a soft lead-in at each opening.

It is about 145 mm wide, 85 mm deep and 56 mm high, and prints in one piece flat on the plate with no supports: nothing to glue or put together. The underside is open with inner ribs to save filament.

The two-color project is charcoal with teal step tops and letters; the colors change within layers, so it needs an AMS (about 6 h 51 min and 159 g). The one-color project prints in any PLA in about 3 h 54 min and 122 g. The projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S; it comes as a 3MF project and as STL, and the license lets you sell the prints you make.

  • 8 AA, 10 AAA, 2 x 9V, 6 coin cells

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need two colors:

    • Body and plaquesCharcoal grey
    • Step tops and lettersTeal
  3. Print

Print it flat on the plate as supplied, with supports off. It comes off the plate in one piece: nothing to glue, screw or put together.

Keep the scale at 100%: the battery fit depends on it. The underside is open on purpose; do not fill it with supports. The two-color project changes color within layers, so it needs an AMS; without one, print the one-color project.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STL on another printer? These are the settings it was made with.

03What to print

1 part. One complete organizer:

PartHow manyColor
Organizer01 Battery Organizer1 pieceAbout 145 x 85 x 56 mm

Pick one layout (two colors or one color) and one format, the 3MF or the STL.

04Using your organizer

  1. Take it off

Let the plate cool, flex it gently and lift the whole organizer.

  2. Clean the pockets

Check each well and slot and pull out any loose strings.

  3. Fill the rows

AA cells go in the back row and AAA cells in the middle. Stand the 9V batteries upright in the two front-left pockets, terminals up, and slide the coin cells edge-first into the six front slots.

  4. Grab and go

Lift a battery straight up. Steady the organizer if one feels snug.

The wells are storage pockets, not clips: never force in an oversized, wrapped, swollen or damaged battery. Keep PLA away from heat and direct sun, and keep batteries, especially coin cells, away from young children and pets.
