01About
A small stand for rooting plant cuttings in water, where you can watch the roots grow. A rounded rainbow arch rises from a flat oval base; each of three test tubes drops through a hole in the arch and another in the crossbar below it, and rests in a shallow cup in the base.
It takes three 25 x 150 mm test tubes (glass or plastic, rolled rims up to 27.5 mm fit), not included. Each tube stands about 22 mm above the arch and lifts straight out to fill, clean or swap a cutting.
It is about 160 mm wide, 70 mm deep and 130 mm high and prints in one piece, upright: nothing to glue or put together. The arch prints without supports; a small set of tree supports goes only under the crossbar, and the project marks where.
The two-color project is a cream base with a sage arch, with a single color change just above the base: use an AMS, or the one-color project with one pause to swap filament. Either way it takes about 4 h 28 min and 118 g. The projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S; it comes as a 3MF project and as STL, and the license lets you sell the prints you make.
- Holds three 25 x 150 mm test tubes
- Tubes lift straight out to refill
- One piece, nothing to assemble
- Arch prints without supports
- Two colors or one, no AMS needed
- Sell the prints you make
02How to print
Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio
Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.
Load your filament
You need two colors:
- BaseCream white
- Arch and crossbarSage green
Print
Print it upright on its base as supplied, with tree supports only under the crossbar. It comes off the plate in one piece: nothing to glue, screw or put together.
Keep the scale at 100%: the tube fit depends on it. Support only the crossbar, never the arch or its opening. Without an AMS, print the one-color project in cream and add a pause before layer 31 (6.2 mm) to switch to sage.
Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings
The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STL on another printer? These are the settings it was made with.

03What to print
1 part. One complete stand (tubes not included):
| Part | How many | Color |
|---|---|---|
| Stand01 Propagation Station | 1 piece | About 160 x 70 x 130 mm |
Pick one layout (two colors or one color) and one format, the 3MF or the STL.
04Using your stand
Take it off
Let the plate cool, flex it gently and lift the stand by its base.
Clear the supports
Peel the supports from under the crossbar and check all six holes and three cups are clear.
Add the tubes
Lower each empty 25 mm tube straight down through the arch and the crossbar until it rests in its cup.
Fill and root
Lift a tube out, add water and a cutting, and set it back gently. Lift tubes out to refill and clean.
Never force glass into a hole. Keep water in the tubes only, keep the stand level and away from shelf edges, and remove the tubes before moving it. PLA is not dishwasher-safe; keep it away from heat and hot sunny windowsills. Glass can break: keep it away from children and pets.
