01About

A small, calming thing to keep in your pocket or on your desk. Each stone has a smooth, deep dip that fits your thumb and fully rounded edges, so it feels good to rub while you think, wait or wind down. Six designs: a classic smooth oval, an oval with three gentle ripples around its rim, a heart, a leaf with a soft center groove, a paw with four little toe dips and a turtle with its head and four flippers.

Each stone is about 35 to 40 mm wide, 38 to 50 mm long and 11 mm tall, with a flat underside. They make easy stocking stuffers, party favors and little gifts.

Each stone prints in one piece, flat side down, with no supports and nothing to put together. Fine 0.16 mm layers keep the dip smooth; a silk PLA gives it a soft sheen.

One color each: no AMS needed. Print the six in six colors, or all six on one plate in one color. The 3MF projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S, and the STLs print on any printer. The license lets you sell the stones you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need 6 colors:

    • ClassicSage green
    • RippleOcean blue
    • HeartRose pink
    • LeafOlive green
    • PawCaramel
    • TurtleTeal
  3. Print

Print each stone as supplied, flat side down with no supports. Each comes off the plate in one piece: nothing to glue or put together.

Keep the scale at 100% and the 0.16 mm layers for a smooth dip. Slow outer walls and top surfaces help the curves; let the plate cool before you lift the stones off. Do not add supports inside the dip.

The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STLs on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

04Using it

  1. Let it cool

Let the plate cool, flex it gently and lift each stone by its body.

  2. Find the dip

Rest your thumb in the smooth dip and rub slowly back and forth.

  3. Keep it close

Slip it in a pocket, keep it on your desk or give it as a small gift.
