01About

A tidy place to rest your watch at night. The strap wraps around a softly rounded cushion with the face to the front, and the cushion leans back a little so the dial is easy to read. In front of it, a shallow oval tray holds a ring, cufflinks or earrings.

Choose a single stand (110 x 85 mm) or a three-watch display (205 x 85 mm) that uses the same cushion three times. It fits closed straps and bracelets of about 160 to 200 mm, up to 26 mm wide.

The cushion presses into a socket in the base on two feet and lifts out to load the watch. No glue, screws or tools.

Two parts, each in one color: no AMS needed. Charcoal and caramel look smart, or print it all in one color. The 3MF projects are set up for a Bambu Lab P2S, and the STLs print on any printer. The license lets you sell the stands you make.

  1. Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio

Open it as a project (File, then Open Project). The printer, plate and settings are already saved, so there's nothing to set up. Printing on another brand? Use the STL files with the settings below.

  2. Load your filament

    You need two colors:

    • BaseCharcoal black
    • CushionCaramel tan
  3. Print

Print everything on the list below, then put it together.

Keep the cushion on its side as supplied, so its feet come out strong; the 3MF keeps supports off the visible cushion faces. With an STL, paint supports on the free socket foot only. Keep the scale at 100%, or the cushion won't fit its socket.

Printing on another printer or slicer? See the settings

The 3MF projects have these settings saved for a Bambu Lab P2S. Using the STLs on another printer? These are the settings they were made with.

03What to print

4 layouts. Single: Base-Single + Pillow. Three watches: Base-Triple + Pillow-Triple:

PartHow manyColor
One base with an oval ring tray and a socket for one cushionBase-Single1×Charcoal black
A long base with a long tray and sockets for three cushionsBase-Triple1×Charcoal black
One watch cushion, printed on its sidePillow1×Caramel tan
Three of the same cushion on one platePillow-Triple1×Caramel tan

Each layout comes as a 3MF project and as an STL: use one or the other, not both.

04Putting it together

  1. Print the base and cushion

Print the base flat and the cushion on its side as supplied. Let them cool, then peel the small support from between the cushion's two feet.

  2. Put the watch on

With the cushion out of the base, slide the closed strap over its rounded top and guide the lower loop between the two feet, the watch face to the front. A buckled strap: wrap it round and fasten it loosely.

  3. Press the cushion in

Line the two feet up with the socket in the base and press down evenly by hand until it sits snug, the watch face toward the tray.

  4. Change watches

Hold the base and lift the cushion straight up by its sides, not by the watch.

The full notes, including strap sizes and fit tips, are in START_HERE.txt inside the download. The cushion is rigid, not foam: never force a tight band over it. Keep PLA away from hot cars and strong sun.
